Despite being born and raised in Hawaii and being exposed to a variety of ethnic dishes since she was little, she's the pickiest eater of the My Island Views editors. She's not an adventurous eater by any means, and she usually sticks to dishes she loves. Her dining adventures usually involve family-friendly, affordable restaurants, since she's often dining out with her husband and two kids.

Nanigurl was not born a foodie. She grew up eating saimin without green onions and plain hamburgers without ketchup and mustard. Today, Nanigurl is famous for enticing her followers with pictures of food from all over Oahu and beyond. Many wonder how someone so obsessed with food can stay so slim. Her secret? Running, swimming, tennis, and everything in between. Join her as she gives you a taste of what you can find here in the islands.
